Pisces energy date duration: Feb 19th through March 20th
Symbol: Two fish swimming in opposing directions
Planetary ruler: Neptune, the planet of dreams, illusion, and imagination, and the Roman god of the sea.
Element: Water
About Pisces characteristics: Pisces, the 12th sign of the zodiac, is a water sign, and those born during this time of the year are known to be natural healers with a strong sense of empathic and intuitive abilities. Represented as a pair of fish swimming in opposite directions, their zodiac symbol’s watery nature represents duality, the unconscious mind, dreams, being in touch with their creativity, emotions, and the ability to perceive dimensions beyond our physical reality. On a further note, Pisces is ruled by the planet Neptune, the planet of illusion, dreams, and imagination. With that said, Pisces can sometimes become overwhelmed with sensing others’ emotions, and because they feel so deeply with empathy, can become wrapped up in feeling the weight of the world’s problems. With this said, if Pisces are not able to detach from these strong energies, they can become depressed, get lost in their emotions, and be disconnected from reality. However, Pisces are incredibly creative, intelligent, compassionate, and loyal friends and partners. Their characteristics tend to include being more on the shy side and prefer being in smaller groups as an observer rather than being in large crowds or the center of attention. Pisces are easygoing and have the ability to just “go with the flow.”
