Amazonite Meaning + Crystal Healing Properties
This beautiful aqua to blue-green colored crystal is known as the “Hope Stone,” because of its powerful metaphysical uses to bring in success, self-expression, leadership, communication, and confidence to those who use it. This stone connects you to divine guidance from Angels and filters out stress.
Similarly to turquoise, amazonite is similar in color and helps with physical challenges of the throat area including speaking up for yourself, soar throat, organs/body parts associated with the throat chakra: voice box, thyroid, thymus, nose, and ears, improves one’s ability to speak and sing! This is an excellent stone for writers, teachers, journalists, writers, lawyers, and public speakers. It encourages honesty and speaking the truth, yet at the same time, it opens your awareness to determine if others are telling the truth to you. Amazonite is helpful to reveal limiting or repeating patterns of behavior and provide clarity on what is blocking us from achieving our goals. Amazonite lifts the veil and removes these hidden blocks so we can clearly see our next steps forward. This stone is particularly useful to help strengthen and repair the mental and etheric layers of the aura.
Although amazonite is primarily thought of being placed on the throat for healing, it may also be placed on the Solar Plexus and Heart chakras. The solar plexus, which is your power and confidence center, is located above your navel in the center of your torso, and below the breast area. To place on the Heart chakra, place the stone in the center of your chest on the breast bone. You may choose to carry this stone around as a tumbled raw stone in your pocket or wear it as jewelry. Using amazonite for healing purposes can include placing it on your throat while lying down to clear the throat chakra or hold it in your hand or next to you in meditation.
Amazonite adds a layer of protection against electronic negativity from EMFs, such as cell phones, microwaves, and other electronics.
Archangels associated with the vibration of this crystal include Archangel Haniel, the “Angel of Joy,” who assists in connecting you to your truth. Working with this Archangel and crystal will help you be open to speaking your personal truth and ability to stand up for what you believe in, which includes speaking up for yourself and taking action when you are called to do so.
