Ametrine Meaning + Healing Properties

Ametrine is a crystal that harnesses the powers of both amethyst and citrine together!  Like amethyst, citrine is also a type of quartz, and since quartz is a crystal that is an energy amplifier, the combination of crystals work to amplify each other!  The crystal displays golden honey yellow hues blended in with an array of violet to deep purple tones.  Ametrine is a high vibrational transformative stone that facilitates success, career advancement, and healing on spiritual, mental, and emotional levels, while connecting you with the energies of Ascended Masters, Archangels, and spirit guides.  

Amethyst and citrine crystals are both part of the quartz family, however, amethyst is considered to be one of several “Master Healing Stones,” and appropriately coined this name because it’s a stone that can ‘do it all.'  The word itself is derived from the Greek word amethystos meaning “not drunk” or “not intoxicated,” and known as a sobriety stone to break away from addictions or habits that do not serve your highest good.  The Greeks believed if they wore a piece of amethyst jewelry while drinking wine or drank from a cup decorated with the crystal, it would prevent overindulgence and make them less intoxicated.  What do you say we put this theory to the test?! Ha…just kidding….but not really…..

The citrine component in ametrine is especially great for clearing the Solar Plexus, and organs associated with that chakra, which include the kidneys, bladder, thyroid, thymus, in addition to assisting with digestion, constipation, blood circulation  The Solar Plexus chakra located just above your navel and in the center of your torso. It is said working with this crystal helps you come up with creative solutions to problems, transmute negativity, anxiety and toxic emotions, boost courage, self-confidence, and enhance your will, personal power to set healthy boundaries in relationships, break away from limiting habits or beliefs to accomplish all that you set out to achieve.  The energy that citrine brings to the table is balancing, and stabilizing your energy.  Since the Solar Plexus chakra is considered to be your power center, it helps you from getting burnt-out and sustain balanced energy.  The stone is said to assist with the automatic nervous system, stabilize DNA/RNA, bring oxygen to the body, assist in healing chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), and other stress-related diseases.

Archangels associated with Amethyst include: Archangel Metatron, whose name means “He Who Works Behind the Throne,” the angel of ascension, enlightenment, evolution of the soul, and oversees the Akashic Records.  Archangel Raziel, whose name means “Secret of God,” the keeper of secrets and mysteries of the Universe, assists in developing prophecy and gifts of clairvoyance.  Archangel Tzaphkiel, (also spelled Zaphkiel) whose name means “Knowledge of God,” and the angel of understanding, mindfulness, compassion.
